How to make Turmeric Tea - Hawksview Honey Lemon Turmeric




There's a reason why Turmeric tea is a popular beverage and known as 'liquid gold'. The ingredients all work together to improve your health, whether it's by reducing inflammation, aiding digestion, improving the health of your heart, reducing stress, or strengthening your bones. Adding this to your daily health regime can help to restore your body and promote your well being.


Ingredients


1/2 cup non-dairy milk unsweetened (I like to use Coconut)

1 tablespoon of Lemon Turmeric from Hawksview Honey

1/2 teaspoon ginger (ground or grated fresh)

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon


Directions


Combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and then immediately lower the heat to a simmer. Cook about 10 minutes, or until the entire pot smells deliciously spicy and the milk is a uniform golden colour. Strain the milk with a fine strainer or cheesecloth into a mug. Enjoy immediately, or keep pre-made in the refrigerator for a few days, reheat and enjoy.
